Phone Basics ⅷ Reduce display brightness: touch > Settings > Sound & display > Brightness > (dimmer setting). ⅷ Decrease display timeout delay: touch > Settings > Sound & display > Screen timeout > (shorter setting). Rugged Features Your phone is designed to resist damage from exposure to certain rugged conditions. To help protect your phone, always make sure that the battery compartment and connector covers are closed and secure. You should also avoid prolonged or extreme exposure to those conditions. Battery Cool Down In very limited circumstances, such as where your phone has been exposed to extreme heat, "Cool Down" message screens will appear. To avoid possible damage to your battery and phone, you should follow these instructions until the phone is within its recommended temperature range.
