Introduction 22.REW/PREV button REW button Press to rewind. Select the speed in setup menu No. 102 (FF. REW MAX). PREV (SHIFT + REW) button During playback or while displaying a still picture with JOG/VAR/SHTL, hold the SHIFT button and press this button to move to the beginning of the current or previous clip. During playback of a recorder in playlist mode, the beginning of the previous video event is located. The operation interrupted by this function resumes when the beginning of a clip is located. During thumbnail display, hold down the SHIFT button and press this button to move to the first thumbnail. 23.PLAY/REVIEW/1 CLIP PLAY button PLAY button Press to start playback. Press this button and the REC button simultaneously to start recording. REVIEW (SHIFT + PLAY) button In playlist mode, hold down the SHIFT button and press this button to review the event at the cursor location (starting 3 seconds before the IN point to 1 second beyond the OUT point). 1 CLIP PLAY (SHIFT + PLAY) button In the thumbnail display or while displaying a still picture by pressing the SEARCH button in the thumbnail display, hold down the SHIFT button and press this button to play back only the clip at the cursor position or the currently located clip. During playback only the STOP button is available. 25.FF/NEXT button FF button Press to fast forward. Select the speed in setup menu No. 102 (FF. REW MAX). NEXT (SHIFT + FF) button During playback or while displaying a still picture with JOG/VAR/SHTL, press this button to move to the beginning of the next clip. During thumbnail display, press this button to move to the last thumbnail. 26.REC button In the stop mode, press this button and the PLAY button simultaneously to start recording. Press this button to check EE mode video and audio on the monitor in the stop mode with the STOP switch set to PB mode. Press the STOP button to return to the original video and audio. 27.SHIFT button This button is used in combination with other buttons. 24.STOP button When the STOP switch is set to PB mode, press this button to engage the stop mode to view still pictures.
