Editing 19.REC button Finalizes an edit operation, registers the event and displays it on the timeline. Imports video to a P2 card from an external device (RS-422A) or hard disk used as the player. PREVIEW/A LEVEL REC buttons PREVIEW button Use this button to preview playback of event that is being registered. Before the preview, the event is registered and appears on the timeline. When the player is a P2 card, the level changes made using the audio level control during a preview are set in a registered event. ➝Refer to "Setting Audio Level" (page 109). 22.REC/UNITY/PB selection switch and audio level controls Select recording (REC position) or playback (PB position) by the selection switch and adjust the levels of audio signals by the audio level controls for audio recording/playback and voice-over recording (sound mixed with playback sound). ◆ NOTE: • Levels cannot be adjusted during playback of a playlist. ◆ NOTE: • Events created from external devices or hard disks are indicated in orange as temporarily registered events.
