Introduction through connector, the REF VIDEO IN connector is automatically terminated at 75 ohm. Connecting a cable to this connector releases 75 ohm termination. When a cable is connected to the REF VIDEO loop-through connector, be sure to connect the other end of the cable to a connector. • At 720P recordings that input or do not input an HD reference signal, the phase of the input signal may be displaced in the recording of the signal. • When setup menu No. 25 (SYSTEM FREQ) is set to 59-23, 60-24 or 60-25, only playback is synchronized to the HD reference signal. • Use double shielded cable for making connection to REF VIDEO IN connector. 6. ANALOG VIDEO IN/MON connector IN connector: Inputs analog composite video signals. When no cable is connected to the loop through connector, the IN connector is automatically terminated at 75 ohm.
