Using the Various Shooting and Playback Functions Changing the Image Size (RESIZE) You can reduce the image size of a shot still image to create a new file with a different image size. Caution You can resize only still images and still images with voice memos. Movies cannot be resized. Note • The following image sizes can be resized as shown in the table below: Original Resized F2816/N2816/F3:2/F2048/N2048 N1280 N640 F1280/N1280 N640 • The ratio of width to height of [F3:2] images is 3:2. When an image of this type is resized, it is reduced to a 4:3 image with black borders at the top and bottom. To change the image size, follow the steps below. 1. Press the 6 (Playback) button. 2. Press the C/D button. The Playback Setting menu appears. 3. Press the " button to select [RESIZE] and press the $ button. 4. Press the !" buttons to select [1280] or [640]. 5. Press the C/D button. The image size is changed and the resized still image is displayed. Reference For information on how to change the image size for movies, see P.62. 107
