Manual Focus Shooting (FOCUS: MF) If the camera fails to focus automatically, you can focus manually (Manual Focus: MF). Manual focus enables shooting at a fixed distance. Note • In Scene Mode, Manual Focus can be used only when [ZOOM MACRO] or [SKEW COR MODE] is selected. • You can also use Manual Focus to focus on objects within the macro shooting range. Setting Manual Focus 1. Switch the Mode Selector to 5. 2. Press the C/D button. The Shooting Setting menu is displayed. 3. Press the " button to select [FOCUS] and press the $ button. 4. Press the !" buttons to select [MF]. 5. Press the C/D or # button. 6. If you pressed the # button in Step 5, press also the C/D button. The Focus setting is completed. The Menu closes and [MF] is displayed on the screen. 66
