Using the fader function (1) When fading in [a] In the standby mode, press FN to display PAGE1. When fading out [b] In the recording mode, press FN to display PAGE1. (2) Press FADER. The screen to select the fader mode appears. (3) Select a desired fader mode. (4) Press OK to return to PAGE1, and press EXIT to return to FN. The fader indicator you selected flashes. Also, you cannot use the fader function while using the following functions. - Digital effect - Low lux mode of PROGRAM AE (Overlap, Wipe or Dot function only)* - Super NightShot - Tape Photo recording - Interval recording - Cut recording * If you operate your camcorder while the fader function is in use, the Low lux mode indicator flashes and you cannot use the fader function. When you select OVERLAP, WIPE or DOT Your camcorder automatically stores the image recorded on a tape. As the image is being stored, the playback picture disappears. At this stage, the picture may not be recorded clearly, depending on the tape condition. 46

Using the fader function

To cancel the fader function

Note
You cannot use the following functions while using the fader function. Also, you cannot
use the fader function while using the following functions.
