Read specified address This subtest reads data from a specified cylinder and head on the HDD. Sequential write This subtest writes specified 2-byte data to all of the cylinders on the HDD. W-R-C specified address This subtest writes data to a specified cylinder and head on the HDD, then reads the data and compares it to the original data.
