4 Replacement Procedures 4.19 LCD Unit/FL Inverter 3. Stand the LCD unit on the display coverand connect the LCD cable to the back of the LCD. Fix it with the glass tape . CAUTION: (For 14.1-inch LCD made by Samsung only) For fixing the LCD cable, use the copper tape instead of the glass tape. When sticking the copper tape, do not cover the aluminum cover. Align the bottom edge of copper tape with the edge of LCD harness. 4. Put the LCD unit on the display cover and secure the LCD with the following screws. • M2x4Z SUPER THIN BIND screw x4 5. Connect two cables to the connectors CN1 and CN2 on the FL inverter. Stick the insulator on the FL inverter and secure the FL inverter with the following screw. Insert the end of the insulator under the LCD unit. • M2x4Z SUUPER THIN BIND screw x1 6. Install the display mask and engage the latches. NOTE: When installing the display mask, make sure there is no gap between the display mask and the display cover. 7.
