Troubleshooting ■ HDMI Problem Cause No picture or sound. The number of the connected HDMI components is over the limit. HDCP authentication failed. ■ Tuner (FM/AM) Remedy Reduce the number of the connected HDMI components. Check that the connected HDMI components support the HDCP copy protection standards. See page - - Problem Cause Remedy FM stereo reception is noisy. There is distortion, and clear reception cannot be obtained even with a FM good FM antenna. The desired station cannot be tuned into with the automatic tuning method. Previously preset stations can no longer be tuned into. The desired station cannot be tuned into with the automatic tuning method. There are continuous AM crackling and hissing noises. There are buzzing and whining noises. The characteristics of FM stereo broadcasts may cause this problem when the transmitter is too far away or the antenna input is poor. There is multi-path interference. The signal is too weak. This unit has been disconnected for a long period. The signal is weak or the antenna connections are loose. Supplied AM loop antenna is not connected. Noises can result from lightning, fluorescent lamps, motors, thermostats and other electrical equipment. A TV set is being used nearby. Check the antenna connections. Try using a high-quality directional FM antenna. Use the manual tuning method. Adjust the antenna position to eliminate multi-path interference. Use a high-quality directional FM antenna. The radio station provides analog FM/ AM radio service only. The signal is too weak. This unit cannot select other audio programs than the main program. HD Radio information does not appear. The radio station provides an audio program only. The radio station does not provide the information. Remedy Select other radio stations that provides the HD Radio service.
