Updating the Driver and Firmware When the 3ware Driver/Firmware Update dialog box appears, it shows available updates for the device driver and for the firmware. . The updater tells you whether newer updates are available, and makes recommendations for whether you should update. Figure 77. Update Utility Showing Available Drivers If either your driver or firmware are current, the screen reflects that. In this example, both the driver and firmware are already current on the system, so the recommendation is not to update either one. . Figure 78.
