External Calls with Unknown Call Number When you receive an external call where the caller indicates a different number than the one actually being transmitted (CLIP no screening), your display will show a "?" next to the call number. If the indicated call number is saved as a phone book entry, as usual, the name will be shown along with a question mark. Note: Display of the "?" can be deactivated by the system administrator. Automatic Call Connection In certain operational modes (e. g. in hands-free operation or when making calls with a headset), it can be useful to be able to accept subsequent calls automatically. On your system telephone, you set the delay after which calls are automatically connected in the 5 Auto call Answer. sub-menu of the Calls MenuCard. Press the call key assigned to the line on which you are speaking. This puts your first call on hold and connects you to the new caller. Press the disconnect key to end the current call. External Calls with Unknown Call Number
When you receive an external call where the caller indicates a different number than
the one actually being transmitted (CLIP no screening), your display will show a “?”
next to the call number. If the indicated call number is saved as a phone book entry, as
usual, the name will be shown along with a question mark. Note: Display of the “?” can
be deactivated by the system administrator.
Automatic Call Connection
In certain operational modes (e. g. in hands-free operation or when making calls with
a headset), it can be useful to be able to accept subsequent calls automatically. On
your system telephone, you set the delay after which calls are automatically con-
nected in the
5 Auto call Answer.

You are speaking on the telephone, hear the call waiting tone

This puts your first call on hold and connects you to the new
caller.
