Duct Sizing Using Third Party Tools You can use external analysis tools to size duct networks in AutoCAD MEP drawings. For more information, contact your local Autodesk reseller. Duct System Snaps Duct snaps offer a quick and accurate way to connect duct objects. As you draw duct runs, you can use duct snaps to connect a duct, fitting, or MvPart directly to a duct connector on another object. You can connect to duct end connectors located on the ends of objects. You can also connect to duct curve connectors located at any point along a duct segment. For more information on using snaps, see Using MEP Snaps on page 75. Grips Grips offer a quick way to modify a duct object or MvPart. When you select a duct object or MvPart in a drawing, the grips for that object are displayed. For more information on using grips to modify objects, see Modifying Components Using Grips on page 220.
