Offset preferences on the Routing tab 3 Specify the alignment for cable tray or conduit insertion: If you want to... Then... align the centerlines of the cable trays or conduits along the points you specify for the run under Justification, select Center for Horizontal and for Vertical. Enter 0 for Offset A and for Offset B. align one or 2 sides of the cable trays or conduits along the points you specify for the run under Justification, select Left or Right for Horizontal, and/or select Top or Bottom for Vertical. offset the cable trays or conduits from the points you specify for the run enter a distance for Offset A and/or for Offset B. To assist you, the preview image on the right provides an example of the current selections. Specifying the Slope for Cable Tray or Conduit Slope is applied to cable tray or conduit in the Z direction of the current coordinate system in the drawing (typically the vertical direction for a building plan). 1 In the Electrical workspace, do one of the following: ■ Click Manage tab ➤ Preferences panel ➤ Cable Tray . ■ Click Manage tab ➤ Preferences panel ➤ Conduit . TIP You can also access the layout preferences from the Add Cable Trays or Add Conduits dialog. Click in the lower-left corner of the dialog.
