Associative Movement You can move multi-view parts on page 76 (called MvParts), fittings, or pipe segments using location grips. This functionality is called associative movement. When you move an MvPart to a new location, the pipe segments attached to that part can move, shrink, or stretch to maintain a connection with the system. You can also move a pipe segment without affecting the location of MvParts or other portions of the pipe run. NOTE For more information, see Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing Equipment in Building Systems on page 76 and Moving Pipe Components Using Location Grips on page 320.
