If you chose Flow arrows by distance then than the interval distance, a label or flow arrow is not added to that segment. Converting a Polyline to Flexible Pipe 1 Select the polyline, line, arc, or spline to convert. 2 Right-click, and click Convert to ➤ Flex Pipe. 3 On the command line, enter n (No) to leave the layout geometry or y (Yes) to erase it from the drawing. If prompted, choose a part. 4 On the Properties palette on page 286, configure basic piping properties. Modifying a Piping System You can make changes to a pipe system at any point during the design process. The topics in this section offer instructions on how to modify various aspects of the pipe system. Selecting or Filtering Objects There are various ways to select objects in a drawing. For example, you can: ■ Move the cursor over an object, and click to select it. ■ Drag the cursor from left to right to select only objects that are entirely enclosed by the rectangular area. ■ Select similar objects in a drawing that have the same part subtype, size, and system as the selected object. For more information, see Selecting Similar Objects. ■ Select MEP objects based on different criteria: System, System Group, Domain, or Connected Branches. For more information, see Selecting MEP Objects on page 120. You can filter objects and modify those with a common property on the Properties palette on page 325.
