Pipe Properties Palette (Modify Mode) This section defines the properties on the Design tab of the Properties palette that you use as you modify the piping system. The Design tab is divided into two sections: Basic and Advanced. Basic Properties Basic properties are expanded by default. The properties reflect the last stored value. NOTE In the following tables, properties related to sloped piped layouts on page 256 are preceded by an asterisk (*). Properties related to flexible pipe are preceded by double asterisks (**) and are only available when you add flexible pipe. General Description Description Information about the object (optional) Layer The layer style on page 132 for the selected object System The system definition for the selected object Dimensions Routing preference Nominal size Size lock Cut length Description The routing preference for the selected pipe object The size on page 252 in the routing preference for the selected object Lock prevents the editing of nominal size while you are modifying the pipe routing. The reported value of the length on page 268 of the pipe Placement Elevation Description The elevation of the pipe object Modifying Pipe | 325
