Elevation Grips Elevation grips ( ) let you modify the elevation of parts and pipe segments in the model view, relative to the top, centerline, or bottom of the segment. If the pipe segment or part is connected to other objects, you can specify whether to maintain their connectivity when you modify the elevation. For more information, see Modifying the Elevation of Pipe Components on page 320. NOTE Elevation grips are not available on flex or sloping pipe segments. You modify the elevation of the start point of a flex pipe segment using the Properties palette.
