1 In the Electrical workspace, click one of the following: ■ Click Manage tab ➤ Preferences panel ➤ Cable Tray . ■ Click Manage tab ➤ Preferences panel ➤ Conduit . 2 In the Layout Preferences dialog, click the Parts tab. 3 For Part Group Definition, select the definition to be modified. 4 For Connection Type, select a connection type. The tree structure updates to display only those parts available for the selected connection type. 5 For each part type, select a default part. Working with Circuits You can use AutoCAD MEP circuit features to create and manage circuits for your electrical plans. You use the electrical project database to manage panel and circuit assignments for electrical devices across all electrical system drawings.
