Basic Properties By default, Basic properties are displayed on the Pipe Properties palette. NOTE In the following tables, properties related to sloped piped layouts on page 256 are preceded by an asterisk (*). Properties related to flexible pipe are preceded by double asterisks (**) and are only available when you add flexible pipe. General Description Action Enter an explanation for the pipe part (optional). Selections System Select a system definition for the pipe object in the current drawing. Standard (default); selections derived from the catalog Dimensions Routing preference Nominal size Size lock Action Select a routing preference for the pipe object in the current drawing. Selections Standard (default); selections derived from the catalog Select a size on page 252 within the range specified in the current 2" (first time); there- routing preference. after, last used value se- lected Lock to prevent the nominal size from being edited in Modify mode. ■ Unlocked (default) ■ Locked Adding Pipe | 287
