Moving pipe using location grip Dragging to new location Resulting layout NOTE Associative movement lets you move objects in the XY plane. You can also modify the elevation of connected parts relative to their top, centerline, or bottom orientation in side and isometric views. Grips You can use grips to make direct changes to a part segment in a drawing. Hovering over a grip displays a tooltip describing the grip's function. Some tooltips also suggest options, such as using the CTRL or ALT keys. For more information, see Designing with Dynamic Input and Grips on page 114.
