CHAPTER 1 INTRODUCTION Place the printer on a flat, horizontal surface. Keep the printer clean. Do not install the printer in a dusty place. Do not install the printer near an air conditioner. The following figure details the recommended area around the printer for proper ventilation, operation and maintenance.
