Introduction Network function features The Brother HL-5270DN and HL-5280DW have the following basic network functions. Network printing 1 The print server provides printing services for Windows® 95/98/Me, Windows NT® 4.0, Windows® 2000/XP supporting the TCP/IP protocols and Macintosh supporting TCP/IP (Mac OS® 9.1 to 9.2 / Mac OS® X 10.2.4 or greater for a wired network and Mac OS® X 10.2.4 or greater for wireless network). The wireless network function is supported by the HL-5280DW only. Management utility BRAdmin Professional (for Windows®) The BRAdmin Professional utility provides powerful, easy to use configuration and management of network settings. For more information on how to install the BRAdmin Professional utility, please see the Quick Setup Guide we have provided with the printer For more information on BRAdmin Professional, visit us at http://solutions.brother.com. BRAdmin Light (for Mac OS® X 10.2.4 or greater) BRAdmin Light is a utility for viewing printer status and configuring network settings from a computer running Mac OS® X 10.2.4 or greater. The BRAdmin Light software will be installed automatically when you install the printer driver. If you have already installed the printer driver, you don't have to install it again.
