Wireless installation in ad-hoc mode (HL-5280DW only) 8 Choose I'm not able to connect my device to my access point with a network cable. Click Next. 9 If you are using a wireless computer, choose This PC has wireless capability., and make sure I am using an access point in infrastructure mode is not checked. Click Next. If you are using a wired computer, choose This PC uses a network cable to connect to the wireless network., and you must configure the wireless settings from the control panel. Click Next and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup. See Using the control panel NETWORK menu to configure your wireless network printer (in infrastructure mode) on page 3-6. When finished, go to Installing the printer driver on page 10-9. You need to temporarily change your PC's wireless settings. Please follow the on-screen instructions. Please make sure you take notes on all the settings such as SSID or channel of your PC. You may need them when if you want to restore the current settings in future. 10 10 - 3
