Wireless installation in ad-hoc mode (HL-5280DW only) For Mac OS® X 10.2.4 or greater Note If you are going to connect the printer to your network, we recommend that you contact your system 10 administrator prior to installation. Improper Setup If you have previously configured the wireless settings of the printer, you must reset the NETWORK menu settings before you can configure the wireless settings again. 1 Press the + or - button to choose NETWORK. Press Set. 2 Press the + or - button to choose FACTORY RESET. Press Set. 3 Press Set again. Improper Setup DO NOT connect the interface cable. Connecting the interface cable is done when installing the driver. 1 Make sure that the printer power switch is on. 2 Turn on your Macintosh®. 3 Put the supplied CD-ROM into your CD-ROM drive, and then double-click the HL-5200 icon on your desktop. 4 Double-click the Start Here OSX icon. If the language screen appears, choose your language. 10 - 12
