80 CHAPTER TEN 4. FAX:OFF VOICE:ON 5. FAX:OFF VOICE:EXT 6. FAX:OFF VOICE:OFF All memory is used to store voice messages-no fax messages will be stored. Incoming faxes will print on paper. You can use the Paging feature, and retrieve voice messages remotely. You need an external answering machine connected to the EXT jack for this setting. See below See p. 81 See p. 101 See p. 82 Setting Up Message Center You must set up Message Center in the following order: 1 Turn Message Storage ON. 2 Record Message Center Outgoing Message (MSG CTR OGM). 3 Turn Message Center Pro OFF ( Function , 9 , 1 ) if it is ON. 4 Activate Message Center Mode. Setting Message Storage Select the setting from the descriptions on pages 79-80. 1 Press Function , 8 , 1 . The screen prompts you to choose a FAX setting. FAX:OFF? SELECT & SET 2 Press or to select ON (or OFF). 3 Press Set . The screen prompts you to choose a VOICE setting. VOICE:ON? SELECT & SET 4 Press or to select your setting from the list on pages 79-80 (ON, OFF, EXT). 5 Press Set when the screen displays your selection. 6 Press Stop to exit.
