To disable IGMP snooping, use the no form of this command. ip igmp snooping no ip igmp snooping Syntax Description This command has no arguments or keywords. Defaults By default, IGMP snooping is globally enabled. Command Modes Global configuration Command History Release 12.0(5.2)WC(1) 12.2(15)ZJ Modification This command was introduced. This command was implemented on the following platforms: Cisco 2600 series, Cisco 3600 series, and Cisco 3700 series routers. Usage Guidelines When IGMP snooping is globally enabled, it enables IGMP snooping on all the existing VLAN interfaces. When IGMP snooping is globally disabled, it disables IGMP snooping on all the existing VLAN interfaces. The configuration is saved in nonvolatile RAM (NVRAM). Examples The following example shows how to globally enable IGMP snooping: Switch(config)# ip igmp snooping The following example shows how to globally disable IGMP snooping: Switch(config)# no ip igmp snooping You can verify your settings by entering the show ip igmp snooping privileged EXEC command.
