Configuration Tasks 16- and 36-Port Ethernet Switch Module for Cisco 2600 Series, Cisco 3600 Series, and Cisco 3700 Series Configuring Spanning Tree Port Priority To configure the spanning tree port priority of an interface, use the following commands beginning in global configuration mode: Step 1 Step 2 Command Router(config)# interface {{ethernet | fastethernet} slot/port} | {port-channel port-channel-number} Router(config-if)# [no] spanning-tree port-priority port-priority Step 3 Router(config-if)# [no] spanning-tree vlan vlan-id port-priority port-priority Step 4 Router(config-if)# end Verify Spanning Tree Port Priority Purpose Selects an interface to configure. Configures the port priority for an interface. The of port-priority value can be from 1 to 255 in increments of 4. Use the no form of this command to restore the defaults. Configures the port cost for an interface. The value of port-cost can be from 1 to 200,000,000 (1 to 65,535 in Cisco IOS Releases 12.1(2)E and earlier).
