Integrated NIC Hardware Key Hardware functionality for the blade's integrated NICs is enabled by installing a NIC hardware key in the socket on the system board (see "System Board Connectors" on page 316.) NOTE: Operating system support is also required for full NIC functionality. Figure 3-31. The USB memory key can be used as a boot device, security key, or mass storage device.
