Hard-Drive Indicators Condition Drive-Status Indicator Pattern Identify drive/preparing Blinks green two times per second for removal Drive ready for insertion or Off removal NOTE: The drive status indicator remains off until all hard drives are initialized after system power is applied. Drives are not ready for insertion or removal during this time. Drive predicted failure Blinks green, amber, and off. Drive failed Blinks amber four times per second. Drive rebuilding Blinks green slowly. Drive online Steady green. Rebuild halted Blinks green three seconds, amber three seconds, and off six seconds. 32 About Your System
