Sector A (for ActionLaser 1000 only) B C IC number 31,32,33,34 10,11,12,13 14,15,16,17 1. Make sure that all the pins on the chip are straight. The pins should point inward at slightly less than a 90° angle as shown below. If any of the pins are bent, straighten them by gently pushing them back into alignment with the other pins. 2. Align the pins with the holes in the socket. Be sure that the small notch on the end of the chip is facing to your left as shown below. CAUTION: e Be sure to insert the chip so that the small notch on the end of the chip is aligned with the notch on the chip socket.
