Epson resident fonts are different from the proprietary fonts identified in HP emulation. However, Epson resident fonts have character widths and character designs similar to the proprietary fonts identified in HP emulation. The optional fonts available with the optional font card or font cartridge are listed in a following section. The following table lists the font attributes that can be changed for bitmap and scalable fonts: Attribute Orientation Symbol Set Pitch Point size Typestyle Weight Resident bitmap fonts The following table lists the attributes (characteristics) of the resident bitmap fonts available in HP emulation. Font name Courier Courier Bold Courier Italic Courier Courier Bold Courier Italic Line Printer Pitch 10cpi 10cpi 10cpi 12cpi 12cpi 12cpi 16.66cpi Point size 12 12 12 10 10 10 8.5 Q Portrait orientation is available for all fonts with the ActionLaser 1000. Both orientations (portrait and landscape) are available for all fonts with the ActionLaser 1500. Q 26 symbol sets are available for all fonts. HP Emulation Mode B-11
