from someone who is not stored in People, only the default caller ID icon and phone number appear on the Incoming call screen. Note: If your phone is turned off, all calls automatically go to voicemail. Answer or Reject an Incoming Call ● If the display is on when you get a call, touch ANSWER or DECLINE. ● If the display is locked when you get a call, drag or upwards. After declining a call, you can send a text message to the caller or create a task to remind you to return the call. All declined calls go to your voicemail. Tip: You can also press the Power button twice to reject a call. Mute the Ringing Sound To mute the ringer without rejecting the call, you can do any of the following: ● Press the Volume button. ● Briefly press the Power button. ● Place the phone face down on a level surface. (You can do this even on the Lock screen.) Look Who's Calling Every time you make a call or your friend gives you a ring, you get to see your friend's latest social network status update right on the call screen. You'll also see a birthday reminder if your friend's birthday (stored on your phone or online account) will happen in a few days. View a Task Reminder While on a Call If you associate a task to a contact, you'll see a task reminder on the call screen when you're on a call with that friend. Phone Calls 53
