9 If you keep BOOTP=YES *, the values for the TCP/IP parameters will be provided by the BOOTP file, RARP, or DHCP and no other TCP/IP configuration is necessary. Skip to step 17. - OR - Press VALUE to change the value of the BOOTP= parameter. BOOTP=NO displays. 10 Press SELECT to save the selection. BOOTP=NO * appears, and you are prompted to configure each of the TCP/IP parameters. 11 Press ITEM to continue configuring. IP BYTE 1=> * displays. 12 Press VALUE until the value of the first byte of the IP address displays. 13 Press SELECT to save the value. 14 Repeat steps 12 and 13 to configure the remaining bytes of the IP address. 15 Press ITEM to continue. 16 Repeat steps 12-15 to configure the subnet mask bytes (SM), default gateway (GW), and timeout (TIMEOUT). 17 If you are finished, press GO to return the printer to the READY state. - OR - See the appropriate sections for other protocols that will be used.
