Converged Enhanced Ethernet on the HP ProCurve 6120XG Switch Configuring Traffic Templates Configuring Traffic Templates The default template cee-tcgt is automatically created when CEE is licensed on the switch. This template cannot be modified or deleted. Two additional traffic group options are available when CEE is licensed on the switch-groupid and lossless. When in the traffic template context, you can create or modify traffic groups for that template (except the default templates) by mapping priorities to queues as well as configuring other attributes. For more information on creating and modifying traffic templates, see "Configuring Traffic Templates" on page 5-65 in the Quality of Service chapter in this guide. Syntax: [no] map-traffic-group [name ] [group-id >] [priority ] [lossless] Allows configuration of traffic groups within a traffic template. : Required; ranges from 1 to the number of active queues, which can vary from 1 to 8. name : Optional, a name that can be assigned to help identify the purpose of a particular traffic group. Maximum length is 40 characters. group-id: Only available as an option when CEE is licensed. DCBX advertisements use this number to identify the traffic class group, so the number should match the neighboring port's TGID. The group-id can have a value from 1 through 8. Default value is equal to for this traffic group. priority : Specifies which priorities are assigned to this queue. For example, priority 0-3 means that this traffic group maps priorities 0,1,2, and 3 to the specified queue. All priorities (between 0-7) must be mapped to a queue. Priority values cannot be repeated, for example, priority 2, 2, 4 is invalid. Note: The priority parameter is required for the map-trafficgroup command but it is optional when used in the no context and the option lossless is being removed. 6-8
