Stapling The multifunction finisher staples the specified number of sheets of paper. The staple position depends on the staple mode and paper size. 120 mm (4.72 inches Figure 22. The stapler moves toward the front of the stapler frame, and stops at the slide home-position sensor on the slide PCB. The slide motor is driven a specified number of pulses, and the stapler moves to rear standby position and enters the standby state when it reaches the back of the multifunction finisher.
