RIP Route Redistribution configuration NOTE: RIP commands are available only on the GbE2c Layer 2/3 Ethernet Blade Switch. The following table describes the RIP Route Redistribute commands. Table 129 RIP Redistribute commands Command redistribute {fixed|static|ospf|eospf} no redistribute {fixed|static|ospf|eospf} redistribute {fixed|static|ospf|eospf} export metric show ip rip redistribute Description Adds selected routing maps to the RIP route redistribution list. This option adds a route map to the route redistribution list. The routes of the redistribution protocol matched by the route maps in the route redistribution list will be redistributed. Command mode: Router RIP Removes the route map from the RIP route redistribution list. Command mode: Router RIP Exports the routes of this protocol in which the metric and metric type are specified. To remove a previous configuration and stop exporting the routes of the protocol, enter none. Command mode: Router RIP Displays the current RIP route redistribute configuration. Command mode: Router RIP Open Shortest Path First configuration NOTE: OSPF commands are available only on the GbE2c Layer 2/3 Ethernet Blade Switch. The following table describes the basic Open Shortest Path First (OSPF) commands. The following sections provide more detailed information and commands. Table 130 OSPF Configuration commands Command router ospf area area-range ip ospf area-virtual-link message-digest-key md5key host lsdb-limit [no] default-information Description Enter Router OSPF configuration mode. Command mode: Router OSPF Configures the OSPF area. Command mode: Router OSPF Configures the summary range. Command mode: Router OSPF Configures the OSPF interface. Command mode: Interface IP Configures a Virtual Link. Command mode: Router OSPF Assigns a string to MD5 authentication key. Command mode: Router OSPF Configures an OSPF host route. Up to 128 host routes can be configured. Host routes are used for advertising network device IP addresses to external networks to perform server load balancing within OSPF. It also makes Area Border Route (ABR) load sharing and ABR failover possible. Command mode: Router OSPF Sets the link state database limit.
