Command mode: All SNMPv3 USM User Table information The following command displays SNMPv3 user information: show snmp-server v3 user Command mode: All The User-based Security Model (USM) in SNMPv3 provides security services such as authentication and privacy of messages. This security model makes use of a defined set of user identities displayed in the USM user table. The USM user table contains information like: • the user name • a security name in the form of a string whose format is independent of the Security Model • an authentication protocol, which is an indication that the messages sent on behalf of the user can be authenticated • the privacy protocol. This indicates whether messages sent on behalf of this user are protected from disclosure using a privacy protocol. GbE2c software supports DES algorithm for privacy.
