As part of the setup process, you will install the main battery, activate the backup battery, turn on the device, and complete the Windows CE Welcome Wizard. To set up your HP Jornada, you will need to have your HP Jornada, the HP Jornada Standard Battery, the AC adapter, and the power cable. Follow these steps in the order they are presented. Do not activate the backup battery before installing and charging the main battery.
