3. Shut down the server: # init 0 4. Swap out the HBA card. 5. Power up the server. 6. Configure HP Scalable NAS's default HBA driver version for the hardware installed on your system: # /opt/hpcfs/lib/chhbadriver default 7. Import the cluster configuration to the server: # mxconfig -import 8. Enable the HP Scalable NAS startup script. Run this command: # /sbin/chkconfig --add pmxs 9. Start HP Scalable NAS: # /etc/init.d/pmxs start Install a non-default driver provided with HP Scalable NAS HP Scalable NAS includes several versions of the HBA drivers for the supported Fibre Channel host bus adapters. One of these versions is the default for HP Scalable NAS; however, you can install a different version if required by your system configuration. To install a non-default HBA driver version, complete these steps: 1. Shut down the HP Scalable NAS software: # /etc/init.d/pmxs stop 2. Disable the HP Scalable NAS startup script. Type this command: # /sbin/chkconfig --del pmxs 3. Reboot the server. 4. Use the following command to display a list of the HBA driver versions provided with HP Scalable NAS: # /opt/hpcfs/lib/chhbadriver list 5. Run the chhbadriver command again with the appropriate driver version. 378 SAN maintenance
