Multipath I/0 (MPIO) support HP recommends that Device Mapper Multipath, the Linux-based MPIO solution, be used in HP Scalable NAS clusters. Other MPIO solutions such as the HP Scalable NAS mxmpio command, the QLogic failover feature, and third-party MPIO software can also be used. Linux Device Mapper Multipath HP Scalable NAS provides support for Linux Device Mapper Multipath.
