Returning the Library to Online Status To return the tape library online for automated operations: 1. Refer to your specific drive publications for instructions on making the drives ready. For a DLT drive, make sure the Operate Handle light is on and the handle is up. Note If you manually load any cartridges, you must manually unload them and store them in a storage cell or remove them from the library. 2. Close and lock the tape library doors. The robot will perform an audit of the cells. 3. Returning the Library to Online Status
To return the tape library online for automated operations:
1.
Refer to your specific drive publications for instructions on making the
drives ready. For a DLT drive, make sure the
Operate Handle
light is on
and the handle is up.
Note
If you manually load any cartridges, you must manually unload
them and store them in a storage cell or remove them from the
library.
2.
Close and lock the tape library doors. The robot will perform an audit of
the cells.
