Using DLT Cartridge Bar Code Labels Make it a practice to use bar code labels on your tape cartridges. Your host software may need to keep track of the following information and the associated bar code: I Date of format or initialization I Cartridge owner (such as a group or department) I Storage purpose Note If the host software does not keep track of this information, create a method for doing so. DLT cartridges have a front slide slot located on the face of the cartridge next to the write-protect switch. Using DLT Cartridge Bar Code Labels
Make it a practice to use bar code labels on your tape cartridges. Your host
