13 OTHER FUNCTIONS N Cloning function The IC-80AD has transceiver-to-transceiver data cloning capability. This function is useful when you want to copy all of the programmed contents from one IC-80AD to another. • An optional OPC-474 CLONING CABLE is required. q Turn the transceiver's power OFF, then connect an optional OPC-474 between both [SP] jacks. to the [SP] jack OPC-474 w While pushing [M/CALL] and [MENU ], push and hold [PWR] for 1 sec. to enter cloning mode. • "CLONE M" appears. e Push [PTT] on the "master" transceiver. • "CL OUT M" appears and the bar meter shows that cloning is taking place. • After the cloning is completed, the display returns to "CLONE M." r Push and hold [PWR] for 1 sec. to turn power OFF. Cloning function
The IC-80AD has transceiver-to-transceiver data cloning
capability. This function is useful when you want to copy all
of the programmed contents from one IC-80AD to another.
An optional OPC-474
CLONING
