Removing a hot-swap fan assembly Attention: To ensure proper server operation, replace a failed fan within 30 seconds. To remove a hot-swap-fan, complete the following steps: 1. Read the safety information in Chapter 2 "Safety information" on page 3 and "Installation guidelines" on page 67. 2. Remove the cover (see "Removing and replacing the cover" on page 72). The LED near the connector of the failing fan assembly is lit. 3.
