Removing the battery
To remove the system-board battery, complete the following steps:

Turn off the server and peripheral devices and disconnect all power cords; then, remove the cover (see
“Removing and replacing the cover” on page 72).
3.
If necessary, lift the riser-card assembly out of the way (see “Removing and installing a PCI riser-card
assembly” on page 81).

Locate the battery on the system board
