Troubleshooting This section helps you solve problems you may have with the AIO. Additional troubleshooting information is available in the Lexmark Solution Center. For help accessing the Lexmark Solution Center, see page 19. Troubleshooting checklist Before you try to solve the problem, check the following: Is the power supply inserted correctly (arrows up) and firmly attached to the AIO and an electrical outlet? Is the USB cable securely attached to the computer and the AIO? Are both the computer and AIO on? Did you remove the sticker and transparent tape from both print cartridges? For help, refer to the setup documentation. Are the print cartridges properly installed (see page 39)? Is the paper loaded correctly? Make sure you do not force the paper into the AIO. Did you install the AIO software correctly? For help, refer to the setup documentation. Is the Lexmark 3100 Series set as the default printer (see page 54)? Is your operating system supported? Do you have administrator rights? You must have administrator rights to install the software on a network. 44

Troubleshooting checklist
Before you try to solve the problem, check the following:
Is the power supply inserted correctly (arrows up) and firmly
