To 1 Start up the connection function 2 Register the PC to the handset (pairing) Connections Do this Press the MENU key Æ select External connection Æ Bluetooth. If the PC is not yet registered on Bluetooth screen, register it by one of the following procedures: Pairing from the PC Side 1 Press the Options menu key and select Pairing standby. 2 Execute the pairing operation from the PC, and then enter Passkey. (Refer to the instructions manual of the PC for details) When the authentication is complete, the PC is registered to Bluetooth screen. Note : After going into Pairing standby, if the time set in Pairing timer elapse without having any connection request from other bluetooth devices, Pairing standby will over. Searching from the Handset Side 1 Put the PC in pairing standby mode. (Refer to the instructions manual of the PC for details) 2 Press the Options menu key and select Search. 3 Execute the pairing with the detected PC, and then enter Passkey. (Refer to the instructions manual of the PC for details) When the authentication is complete, the PC is registered to Bluetooth screen. Note : The Passkey referred to here is the Bluetooth PIN code for the remote device (the PC). Refer to the instructions manual of the PC for details. Note : You can change for how long to search Bluetooth devices by changing the value in Search timer under Timeout settings. -122-
