GS752TXS and GS728TXS Smart Switches Voice VLAN Configure the Voice VLAN settings for ports that carry traffic from IP phones. The Voice VLAN feature can help ensure that the sound quality of an IP phone is safeguarded from deteriorating when the data traffic on the port is high.  To configure the voice VLAN: 1. Select Switching VLAN > Advanced  Voice VLAN Configuration. 2. Next to Admin Mode, globally enable the administrative mode for Voice VLAN on the switch. 3. Select the port(s) to configure: • To configure a single port, select the check box associated with it, or type the port number in the Go To Interface field and click Go. • To configure multiple ports with the same settings, select the check box associated with each port to configure. • To configure all ports with the same settings, select the check box in the heading row. 4. From the Interface Mode list, select one of the following options to determine how an IP phone connected to the selected port should send voice traffic: • VLAN ID. Forward voice traffic in the specified voice VLAN. • Dot1p. Tag voice traffic with the specified 802.1p priority value. • None. Use the settings configured on the IP phone to send untagged voice traffic. 111
