GS752TXS and GS728TXS Smart Switches which an IP ACL applies must be specified, as well as whether it applies to inbound or outbound traffic. Rules for the IPv6 ACL are specified/created using the IPv6 Rules screen. To add an IPv6 ACL: 1. Select Security ACL > Advanced IPv6 ACL. The current number of the IP ACLs configured on the switch is displayed in the Current Number of ACL area. The maximum number of IP ACLs that can be configured on the switch is displayed in the Maximum ACL field, depending on the hardware. The name of IPv6 ACL can be configured in IPv6 ACL field. The number of the rules associated with the IP ACL is displayed in the Rules field. The ACL type is IPv6 ACL and displayed in the Type field. 2. Under IPv6 ACL, specify a name to identify the IPv6 ACL. 3. Click Add. To delete an IPv6 ACL: 1. Select the check box associated with the ACL. 2. Click Delete. IPv6 Rules Use the IPv6 Rules screen to configure the rules for the IPv6 Access Control Lists. The IPv6 Access Control Lists are created using the IPv6 Access Control List Configuration screen. By default, no specific value is in effect for any of the IPv6 ACL rules. To add a rule to an IPv6 ACL: 1. Select Security ACL > Advanced IPv6 Rules. 237
